Scott Richardson named 2008 Heywood Award winner

The DJJD Committee would like to congratulate Scott Richardson as the 2008 Heywood Award recipient.

Scott Richardson, director of community relations for Northfield Hospital, is the winner of the 2008 Joseph Lee Heywood Distinguished Service Award. Scott was surprised at work by the Defeat of Jesse James Days Committee last Friday.

Richardson's involvement in the community reaches dates back to when he and his wife, Pat, moved to Northfield in 1976. He is the former chair of the Economic Development Authority, service on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors and as its president, helped form the Healthy Communities Initiative, served on the DJJD committee in the 1980s and is active on the Northfield Vintage Baseball team.
